I had the absolute honor of working with brilliant Karen Santos today to create some awesome portraits. I was an alien, a who from Whoville, the girl next door, the bond girl and the bad girl. It was such a privilege to work with her as well as her team, Lindsey Dabalos with some iconic hair and makeup work, and Becca Martin making sure that all lights, apple boxes, and natural light were perfectly in place. Here is a little behind the scenes sneak peak of some of the looks we created!
"Plano" - Clubbed Thumb Directing Fellowship
I have the pleasure of participating once again in the Clubbed Thumb Directing Fellowship. This is an amazing program that helps young directors have the opportunity to direct new plays while working intimately with the playwrights to sculpt the best possible presentation of their work.
This year I will be workshopping "Plano" written by Will Arbery and directed by Taylor Reynolds. We will be working with this play until late-November, where our work will culminate into two presentations of the play that will be open to the public.
"12TH NIGHT" OR "WHAT YOU WILL" at The Brick

I have officially wrapped shooting on the film adaptation of Anton Chekhov's The Seagull, produced by The Instigators. After a long and fulfilling two weeks on location, I am overjoyed to say that we made something pretty beautiful. Here is a sneak peak of what we will be looking at coming VERY SOON!
Filming "The Seagull" on Location
I have just embarked on the second part of my two-part journey with The Seagull by Anton Chekhov, produced by The Instigators. Following our four-week run at the Access Theater in TriBeCa, we have now begun to put our adaptation of The Seagull on film.
We have started shooting on location on Clam Island, one of the Thimble Islands just off the coast of Branford, CT. We have an amazing team working with us on part two of this adventure. Our Director is Saddiq Abubakar, Johnny Juarez is our DP, Kaspar Kamu is our Gaffer/Lighting Designer, Kazuhiro Imafuku is our Scenic Designer, Robert Douthat is our Sound Engineer, and last but not least Fergus Scully and Taylor Petracek will lead us as the Producers of this giant undertaking.
Check out the picture below to see a sneak peak of our GORGEOUS location!
"The Seagull" Tickets for Sale!
We are only one week away from The Seagull's opening night! I have the pleasure of playing the role of Masha, the resident goth girl of our tale. You absolutely must come see this wildly entertaining classic told in an immersive setting. Here is some more info on the show:
The first of Chekhov's four major plays, THE SEAGULL is about a family of theater artists and the month-long sojourn in the country that transforms their lives forever. With humor and keen insight, THE SEAGULL exposes the absurdity of the human condition and the poignancy of the need to live an extraordinary life.

We will be performing in the Robert Moss Theater from May 10-14. Details and tickets can be found at:
Trip to LA
Exciting things are cooking up in a bicoastal kind of way! I just arrived home from a very impromptu trip to Los Angeles. Not only did I get to spend a fun day and a half in sunny California, but I also got to participate in some pretty exciting stuff while I was out there. More news to come super soon!
"The World My Mama Raised"
I have the great honor of working with Kip Fagan (director) and Ari Stess (playwright) on her play: The World My Mama Raised. A group of us have the privilege of helping Kip, Ari and the rest of the creative team by acting as bodies in the space for them to play around with and help cultivate the possible shape of the show. The World My Mama Raised will be performed this summer as part of Clubbed Thumbs Summerworks annual season of new plays.
Masha in Anton Chekhov's "The Seagull"
Exciting news! I have been cast as Masha in The Instigators production of The Seagull adapted by Fergus Scully and directed by Lillian Meredith. We will be performing at the Access Theater in Manhattan from May 25th -June 18th, and then filming a version of the script after that to create a feature length film. This will be the second time I have worked with Lillian as a director, and the first time I have worked with The Instigators. I am honored to join this stellar cast of actors. More info to come very soon!
"Nature Whatever"
I have had the privilege of working with Morgan Green (once again) and Sarah Einspanier (for the first time) on a piece of theater they are creating that culminates with a performance at 3LD with New Georges Water Residency. This piece is about the relatable struggle of freshman orientation on the first few days of a student's college career. As a recent graduate, it was great fun to work with both Sarah and Morgan while reminiscing about the trials and tribulations of being a freshman at a new school. Unfortunately, due to conflicting rehearsals for the upcoming remount of Sisters on the Ground I will not be taking part in the performance of this piece, but wish Morgan, Sarah and the cast all the best for their performance!
"Women and Children" at Dixon Place
Tonight I have the great pleasure of reprising the role of "Mother" in a staged reading/performance of Women and Children. This is a brand new play that we've been working on since November 2016. It is written by Jack Sullivan, directed by Nikolai Mishler and will be performed at the Dixon Place Lounge.
"Cute Activist"
This week I have the pleasure of taking part in the reading of Cute Activist, a new play written by Milo Cramer and directed by Morgan Green. This weeks work will culminate in a small presentation of scenes from this other worldly play.

"Hippos of the Eastern Enclosure" - Clubbed Thumb Directing Fellowhship
This coming weekend I will be playing "Large", a bad-ass hippo who rules over the Eastern Enclosure of the zoo she calls home. I have had the privilege of working on this brand new play by Jen Silverman, directed by Christina Roussos as part of Clubbed Thumb's Directing Fellowship led by Anne Kauffman and Ken Rus Schmoll.
"Time and a Half"
Today I will be playing the role of Kelly in a staged reading of Time and a Half by Kara Lee Corthron. Kara was commissioned to write this play for Playwrights Horizons Theater School as part of their Spring 2017 season. This is an extremely special play that is sure to shock every single audience member.
RR&JJ
We just wrapped on Romeo/Romeo & Juliet/Juliet. It was rained out both days, so we had to perform in a basement, but the performances were still sold out and lots of fun. What an amazing experience to have with some of my closest friends. Stay tuned for where RR&JJ goes next!
