"THE SPACE WITHIN" Season 2 Out Now

You waited for it! Here it is!

I am very excited to announce that The Space Within, Audible's electrifying sci-fi series, is back with a second season, delivering more pulse-pounding thrills as the mysteries surrounding alien abductions grow. Catch up on the entire series now on Audible.

I will be reprising my role of Alex, the strong-willed daughter of Dr. Madeline Wyle, played by Jessica Chastain. I had the pleasure of working in person with Jessica Chastain and many of the other wonderful actors featured in this second season. I am also featured as a lead performer this season on Audible when you search for the series and appear in a majority of the episodes, often opposite Jessica Chastain. Currently, "The Space Within" is charting as the #1 best-selling audiobook worldwide.

A big thank you to Josh Fagin, Gre O’Connor, Vincent Cacchione, Stephen Winter, the Freckle Films team, the Topic Studios team, the Audible Originals team, and all the other wonderful people who helped put this stunning series together.

"If We Really Were Witches" at The Tank!

The cast and crew of If We Were Really Witches are back at it again in NYC!

If We Really Were Witches, written and directed by Kelly F. Burr, is a comedy about the witch hunts. Yes, you read that right. Set in a generic 1600s town, Witches explores what might've happened if real witches dropped in on the witch hunts. Mildred, Agnes & Suds are summoned by the ghost of a witch hunt victim to cause some hilarious trouble. Equal parts The Crucible and Monty Python, this fast-paced four-person comedy raises questions about pseudoscience, community, and how many parts each actor can play.

We have been invited to perform at The Tank as part of their initiative to help developing work in the city. Please come check out the show if you’re up for a good belly-warming laugh in all this cold, cold weather!

"Shelved" Indie Pilot

It was such a pleasure to work with the amazing team of Shelved a new independent pilot written by Pete Fiorentino, Mike Mazzone and Terence Murphy from Not a Cupcake Productions.

After a freak bike accident scrambles his brain, Jason, a one-hit-wonder rapper suddenly experiences a change in personality and music ability forcing his hothead manager to protect their shot at fame as friendship, egos and careers spiral out of control.

I play Giana, a woman who is loud, dramatic, loving, and deeply New York. Giana is Jason’s not-girlfriend. She’s over-the-top, emotionally honest, and makes every room louder when she enters. We spent a fun couple of days on Staten Island messing around with some hilarious accents, making big bold choices, and doing a bunch of other whacky stuff! I cannot wait for you all to see the finished product.

"If We Were Really Witches" Scranton Fringe & NYC Fringe Shows!

I am so excited to be a part of the touring cast of If We Were Really Witches, written and directed by the formidable Kelly Burr.

If We Really Were Witches is a comedy about the witch hunts.

Our upcoming performances this fall will take place at the Scranton Fringe Festival and the NYC Fringe Festival at the Frigid NY Day of the Dead Festival. We will also be doing a special, spook-tacular Halloween performance and fundraising event, so keep your eyes peeled for more information on that coming soon!

"Self Care" Short Film!

I had the pleasure of playing both characters in the upcoming short film Self Care, written and directed by my dear friend, Matt Minnicino. This was a small, scrappy, spooky little film project that came together extraordinarily with the help of many generous and incredibly skilled friends and collaborators. I am so grateful and thrilled to see this film come together.

Keep an eye out for this short film as we send it out onto the festival circuit in the near future! Spooky season is upon us!

"The Logistics" Micro-Short Film!

I had the pleasure of serving as director, co-writer, producer, and actor for a lovely micro-short called The Logistics, based on a story from my dear friend Alexandra Fortin. We had the opportunity to work with some awesome friends on this little piece, and the collaboration was splendid!

This is the story of a young couple, mid-hair appointment, who try their best to hash out the complexities and logistics same-sex couples face when thinking about having a child with limited resources.

Keep an eye out for how you can watch this sweet, charming mini-short very soon!

"Mac N Beth" Short Film has Wrapped!

That’s a wrap on Mac N Beth! It has been a pleasure to both produce and act in this fantastic short film adaptation of Macbeth, written by the incomparable Jacob Ming Trent and made by my production company, PODS Productions. Set in a 1970s blues club, the kings and queens of the blues scene must decide just how far they’ll go to stay on top.

This film was directed by Devin E. Haqq and stars Jacob Ming Trent, Victoria Alev, Joel Marsh Garland, Billy Eugene Jones, Casey McSherry, Ashley J. Hicks, and me!

Now we’re onto post-production, but stay tuned for more of Mac N Beth very soon as it enters the film festival circuit!

"Alice: The Trail to Wonderland" at Lachat Town Farm

I am very excited to be journeying down the rabbit hole this May at Lachat Town Farm in Alice: The Trail to Wonderland, an 80s adaptation of Alice in Wonderland. This is going to be a wild, wacky, colorful 80s fever dream as you follow Alice and all the usual Wonderland suspects down the rabbit hole in this immersive, site-specific, interactive performance meant for all ages.

I have the distinct pleasure of playing Tweedle Dum in this production, and I honestly could not be more thrilled to put that on my resume—it's the role I was born to play!

Performance dates and ticket link are below! See you in Wonderland!

"Wellwood" Available Now on Apple TV

I am so thrilled to share that Wellwood, a film I had the pleasure of acting and producing back in 2018 is finally available to stream on Apple TV! It was such a joy to work with Pro Machina and the Oscar award-winning father of practical effects, Alec Gillis, on this thrilling and equally heart-wrenching sci-fi film.

Everything you see in this film is real. Let that sink in for a moment. Hand-painted, hand-crafted, tactile set pieces and creatures. All these incredible practical effects were created by hand from the minds of Alec Gillis, Camille Balsamo, Reid Collums, and their amazing teams.

"Medea: Re-Versed" Off-Broadway Run!

Medea: Re-Versed is going to NYC for an off-Broadway run! Come check us out at THE SHEEN CENTER SHINER THEATRE, located at 18 Bleecker Street | New York, NY 10012.

The work is penned by Luis Quintero and co-conceived and directed by Red Bull Theater Associate Artistic Director Nathan Winkelstein.

Performances begin September 12 at the Sheen Center Frank Shiner Theatre, with opening night set for September 23. The limited engagement will continue through October 13, with a possible extension through October 28. Originally commissioned and developed by Red Bull Theater, the rolling world premiere is currently playing at the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival through September 2.

Sarin Monae West will star in the title role, with Siena D'Addario, Melissa Mahoney, Mark Martin, Jacob Ming-Trent,  Luis Quintero, and Stephen Michael Spencer.

Medea: Re-Versed is an adaptation of Euripides' play written in battle rap verse. The hip-hop version sheds contemporary light on the classic tragedy of family, power, and revenge.

The creative team includes scenic designer Emmie Finckel, costume designer Nicole Wee, lighting designer Cha See, sound designer Matt Otto, and music director Mark Martin.

"Music and Myth making is one the oldest of human traditions. In excavating the past, I discover what resonates with the present," Quintero said in a statement. "When I set out to modernize Medea I asked myself 'Who am I writing this for?’ First, I needed to honor the memory of the original Medea. Meaning the very woman who fought for her own justice when no one else would. Her suffering was not a play, it was lived and I was compelled to write with that reverence in mind. Second, I am writing to expand the traditional theatre audience. Musically, I wanted to compose a piece that broke out of the mold of musical theatre. A three-piece band with simple music that anyone could play and, most importantly, that non-theatregoers would headbang to in their cars the same way they would to Joyner Lucas, Rage Against the Machine, or Evanescence. Thirdly, it needed to accentuate the live theatrical experience. In a world of streaming, the communal exchange of vibration and energy in the present moment is what sets theatre apart. So by looking back to Shakespeare I set out to create a new form of theatre that encourages audience participation and channels it into the storytelling itself. Using these three pillars as my compass, I began writing Medea."

2024 Summer Mainstage at Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival

I’m so stoked to be continuing my journey with the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival this summer as an actor in this absolutely insane season of shows, all of which are by living, American playwrights! How cool!

I have the absolute honor of playing lead electric guitar and lending my singing (and rapping) voice to the Greek chorus in Medea: Re-Versed by Luis Quintero. In addition to guitar playing, I will also be understudying all of the female-identifying performers in The Murder of Roger Ackroyd by Heidi Armbruster and By The Queen by Whitney White (Tony Nominee).

I’m so terribly excited to be here with all these incredibly talented humans. Come hear us absolutely shred it this summer and make some magic under the most famous tent in the theatre-making game!

"Much Ado About Nothing" with Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival

I am so thrilled to be working for Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, a dream theater company of mine, this Spring from March 18 to April 16 for their educational tour of Much Ado About Nothing! We will be venturing all throughout the tri-state area performing for middle schoolers, high schoolers, and other communities. I have the pleasure of playing the roles of both Hero and Dogberry (quite the dynamic duo) in this epic 90-minute cut of one of Shakespeare’s most wild, witty, twisted, and, best of all, fun plays.

If you are part of a school system or know of one who would like to see this amazing production, click the button below to find information on how to book us at your school or community center!

Outstanding Performance Award for "WILD FIRE"

I am thrilled to announce that I was awarded the Festival Director’s Award for Outstanding Performance for my role of Ronnie in Wild Fire at the New Jersey Film Festival. A huge thank you to Professor Al Nigrin and his entire (amazing) staff at the festival for selecting my performance for this incredible award. I am truly honored.

And, while I’ve got your attention, don’t forget to head over to AppleTV now and pre-order Wild Fire so that when our film starts streaming on March 5th you can watch it RIGHT AWAY! It would mean so much to me and to everyone who helped make this incredibly special film.

"WILD FIRE" Official Release Date & Pre-Order Information

Wild Fire is available NOW to Pre-Order on AppleTV — Streaming on March 5th!

If you’ve been wanting to know how, when, and where you can watch this spicy, raw, touching film that we had the immense pleasure of making, here’s how you can!

Pre-ordering a copy of Wild Fire on AppleTV would mean so much to everyone who had a hand in making this film. If we can get 300 pre-order before March 5, it will help us break away from the pack on AppleTV and potentially make it onto the Trending Films List which would be a HUGE accomplishment and aid in getting more eyes on the film.

This whole project was such a joy and a pleasure. Every person who worked on this project poured their absolute souls into it. I’ll say it once and I’ll say it again, finding the casting call for this unicorn of a film on Backstage one random evening was some sort of kismet, and I’ll always be eternally grateful for that stroke of luck.

If you’re able to, please pre-order this film on AppleTV NOW so you can be the first to watch this incredibly special, important film about love, vulnerability, honesty, and expansion of self.

Semi-Finalist Judge for Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival

Over this past weekend, I had the immense pleasure of serving as a judge for the Irene Ryan Semi-Finalist round at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival hosted by Central Connecticut State University.

It was such an incredible experience watching 32 talented students from Region 1 (New England) present us with their monologues and scenes. With the amazing talent in the room, it was certainly a tall order whittling down the group to 16 students who moved on to the final round.

I also had the pleasure of leading a seminar, with my producing and writing partner Cooper Gordon, on making your own work and how to get started producing short films. Overall, the entire weekend was such a special experience, and I cannot wait to return next year to judge the competition again.
