That's a Wrap on "Wild Fire"

It is with a heavy heart that I say “see you later” to my Wild Fire family. This was far and away the most special, unique, joyful, positive feature film process I’ve ever had the honor of being a part of. The tireless spirit of this team is unmatched. As one of my fellow actors stated, we never heard a negative word out of ANYONE on this set. Ever. No matter how late, cold or tired we were. And I think that speaks volumes about everyone present and their time and attention to the work at hand.

A big old thank you is in order to our hosts and Executive Producers Jennifer Forgione and Jennifer Cooney for inviting us into their world for these last few weeks and introducing us to all the beautifully supportive people in your lives. The way your friends, family, and community rallied around this project was a truly special thing to behold.

And a separate GIGANTIC thank you is in order to our fearless leader, writer, director, and all-around bad-ass: Jennifer Cooney. Thank you for all the hospitality, the laughs, the thoughtfulness, and the never-ending pride in your work. I will always hold my experience on this project dearly in my heart.

Keep your eyes peeled for more content and updates on this amazing project on the @wildfire.featurefilm Instagram page. Until then…

It is such an honor to be recognized by this film festival for a film that was such a collaborative joy to create. I owe a big thanks to the entire cast and crew of Sweet Pea & Glass who helped me shine my brightest in this film. It truly does “take a village” and this award is in big part thanks to the work of a lot of very talented artists who helped put this kick-ass short film together.

Big thank you, and here’s to many more!

"K2 TOG" Officially Complete & Teaser Trailer

I am so thrilled to announce that K2 TOG, a passion project that I’ve been working on with my writing partner and life partner Cooper Gordon has officially been completed and submitted to a bunch of amazing film festivals all around the country and the world. We have been working on this together throughout this past year, and are so excited to have the film submitted so it can begin its festival circuit. This is a particularly special project because I not only got to play one of the two characters in the film, but I also co-wrote and co-produced the film alongside Cooper.

"Love's Labour's Lost" with World's Elsewhere

I am very excited to officially announce World Elsewhere Theater Company's next production, for #ShakespeareInSpring:

Love's Labour's Lost
directed by Josh Feder
April 9th, 7pm US ET

Love’s Labour’s Lost explores the power of words, how we communicate, and the way logic is constantly in tension with emotion. Each character is committed to their beliefs – philosophical, political, intellectual, or romantic – and does their best to articulate and be true to those values. Our production takes a contemporary look at these themes by broadening and shifting the genders and sexualities of these characters; the romantic pairings encompass a variety of sexual orientations, with societal roles and friend groups including a greater diversity of genders. This helps us connect with these characters, and their ever-relevant questions of identity, as they attempt to analyze their feelings, which are ultimately too powerful to rationalize.

Links and ticket info coming soon!

Official Casting Announcement for "Wild Fire" (Feature Film)

I am THRILLED to announce that I officially booked the role of Ronnie in HalfJack Generation’s film Wild Fire. An indie feature film about seven acquaintances who get radically honest about their lives (oh boy). This is an ensemble-based film, so I will have the pleasure of collaborating with 6 other amazing actors.

A little more about my character, Ronnie the “Blameful Prisoner”. “Ronnie sits at her desk, crouching over her laptop. Headphones cock-eyed on her head, covering only one ear. A lifetime of repression has made her so horny that it’s cute.” Intrigued? You should be…

Filming commences May 2022 in the Scranton, PA area. So please keep an eye out for more information on Wild Fire on their Instagram page, as well as mine, as the rest of the cast is announced and more fun things are posted.

"Between Two Caves" Ticket Information

The live performances of Between Two Caves are right around the corner! Tickets to our March 18th & 19th in-person performances of Between Two Caves are now available for purchase on the wild project website! This performance is a part of wild projects’ Wild Culture performance program.

Between Two Caves by Brendan Bourque-Sheil is an audio-focused theatrical production in which two best friends discuss their journalistic pursuits and by doing so unearth deeply held secrets and some conspiracy theories they've found along the way.

That's a Wrap on "Old Haunts"

This past weekend I had the pleasure of working with Maxwell Brown on his Short Thesis Film for the MFA program in Film at Stony Brook University (SUNY). His short film Old Haunts depicts two young female ghosts, once in love in life, haunting their old apartment now inhabited by a grieving widower. They explore the pain of loss, the anxiety of the unknown in the afterlife, and whatever is left of their relationship as they knew it.

I am so excited for you to see this piece. It is funny, melancholic, and gets to the heart of the matter. Keep an eye out for updates on Old Haunts here and on my Instagram!

"Ranch Water" Wins Big Awards at Two Festivals

I am so happy to announce that Ranch Water has won even more amazing awards at some awesome festivals over the last month! We won the “Audience Choice Award” for Golden Gate International Film Festival’s “Best of Fest ENCORE Series”! So we owe a big thank you to everyone who streamed the film over the past month and a half. This award is 100% thanks to your support!

Some of the other awards we won are even more exciting (if that’s possible)! Ranch Water has won several awards at the Austin Revolution Film Festival including “Best Texas Feature”! As a team that set out to make a film that was a love letter to Texas, this one means a lot to us. Our last and final award at Austin Revolution Film Festival was a complete surprise! Ranch Water won the “Best in Show Feature Film Award”! There were so many incredible films at ARFF this year, so we were shocked and honored to win this one.

Keep and eye out for more exciting news on Ranch Water as it continues to sweep film festivals nationwide!

"Love's Labour's Lost" with World's Elsewhere Productions

And the good news keeps rolling in! I am equally as thrilled to announce that I will be playing the role of Katherine, one of Shakespeare’s classic lovers, in the upcoming production of Love’s Labour’s Lost produced by the wonderful World’s Elsewhere team. With four couples and a love triangle at the center of this story, this production of Love’s Labour’s Lost will examine and compare a variety of identities, genders, relationships, and sexual orientations. We will look at the experiences across different couplings, to see what is unique about each situation, as well as what remains true simply about being in love.

A little more about the wonderful theatre company producing this project… Worlds Elsewhere Theatre Company was established to help preserve and innovate the institution of theatre by establishing a company of artists: performers, directors, writers, artisans, technical crew, and others involved in the creative process who will continue to create through the difficult times of the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. The first production was a fundraising production, which peaked at over 350 simultaneous audience members during the stream, and has subsequently garnered over 7000 views on YouTube. We raised over $5000 for bail and mutual aid funds across the United States.

Follow along here for further updates on this project, how and when you can watch via Zoom, and much, much more!

"Between Two Caves" In-Person Production

I am thrilled to announce that I will be joining my friends over at The Garden of Voices again this Spring at the Wild Project for their first-ever in-person production of Brendan Bourque-Sheil’s Between Two Caves directed by Cassidy Kepp. This will be a podcast episode as well as an in-person audio-theatre experience about two best friends discussing their journalistic pursuits, and by doing so, unearth deeply held personal feelings, along with some conspiracy theories they've found along the way.

Follow along here for more information about dates, tickets, and more!

This time it is one that is a bit closer to home… We are an Official Selection of the New York City Indie Theatre Film Festival! This one is particularly exciting as many of the cast and crew members come from the world of New York theater. This festival celebrates theater artists exploring the world of filmmaking. How perfect! A big thank you to the NYCITFF for including us in your lineup and appreciating all the theater-makers that made Ranch Water come to life!

The in-person portion of the festival begins this coming weekend at The New Ohio Theater, but Ranch Water will only be available during the virtual portion of the festival from February 14th – 20th. Information on how you can watch the online screenings is linked below!
