"The Origami Swan" Premiere at Cinepolis Chelsea

I am so very excited to announce that The Origami Swan premiered last night at the Cinepolis Chelsea theaters in NYC. We received the awards for best screenplay as well as best cast which we were all absolutely thrilled about. It was such a pleasure to work on this film and watching it on a big screen for the first time was a pretty magical experience. Our fearless director and writer, Marine Brion, will be taking it both nationally and internationally to all the of the film festivals possible. So here’s hoping there is more good new coming in the near future! Until then, here are some stills I managed to sneak while in the theater as well as our beautiful poster created for us by Sophi Miyoko Gulsbrants, Jackson Joyce and Austin Welch.

Reading of "Twelve Angry Men" by Twelve Impassioned Women

I have the HUGE honor of being asked to participate in a monumental event. “An incredible cast of talented New York women will lend their impassioned voices to a reading of the classic play, “Twelve Angry Men” by Reginald Rose, as part of a nationwide initiative called 12,000 Voices. During the weekend of April 5-8, 2019, women on stages across the country will read the classic play, which demonstrates the power one person can have when they speak with conviction in our judicial system.” I will be reading the role of Juror 10. I am so stoked to stand amongst some bad-ass women and lend my voice to a play that really needs reading right now, especially by a pack of fierce ladies.

Read more on the flyer below to find out additional information on the nationwide movement and how to reserve tickets for the special event!

NYU Graduate Design Program Reading of "The House of Bernarda Alba"

I have the absolute pleasure of reading the role of Adela in the play The House of Bernarda Alba by Federico Lorca for the NYU Tisch Graduate Design for Stage & Film program. Over the course of the semester they will be creating costume design mock-ups and set design models for the play. We have the great honor of reading the play aloud for them for the first time so they can feel the world and help capture it to the best of their ability. I cannot wait to see what they come up with for their finished products!

"Possessive" Feature Film

I am SO pumped to announce that I will be acting in my first horror film EVER, but this isn’t your runt-of-the-mill horror film. This is a horror film that pokes fun at horror films. You’ll get all the thrills and chills of a horror film along with some big laughs at how silly this whole genre can be. I will be playing the role of The Agent, a spooky girl who shows up exactly when you don’t want her to, and manages to cast a pretty gnarly spell in service of her new lover, who is a ghost.

We will be shooting this fun flick in Big Bear Lake, CA in an actual log cabin. So bust out the popcorn for the laughs and the cozy blankets that are big enough to pull up over your face for the horror because Possessive is here to serve you both the thrills and the fun!

"Between" Short Film

I continue to be lucky enough to be cast in wonderful films alongside wonderful creative teams. Next up is Between, a film about a patiner who is struggling to get a woman he’s never met or seen in real life out of his mind or out of his dreams, if you will. If you’re asking, “Who’s playing this ‘Dream Girl’?” Well. That’s me. I will be playing the ever-flatteringly named role of Dream Girl. I will have the pleasure of working with my good friend Brooke Cirillo on bringing her omnipotent, spooky script to life.

We will be shooting over the course of a week in both Bridgeport, CT and Queens, NY.

"The Origami Swan" Short Film

I am SO excited to announce that I will be playing the lead role of Lizzie in the upcoming short film The Origami Swan directed and written by the very talented Marine Brion. Lizzie is a sugar-baby by day, and struggling visual artist who’s grown up her whole life not knowing who her father is. It’s left a large hole in her heart and perhaps she’s been subconsciously filling that void by interacting with and befriending older men through her line of work. But in this incredibly honest story of searching for something you never had in the first place Lizzie may uncover something she shouldn’t have found in the first place.

Although we’ll be shooting throughout Brooklyn, I will have the pleasure of working with an extremely talented crew who are almost entirely natives of France, so maybe the next time we speak I’ll be a fluent French speaker! À la prochaine!

Acting Class with Carly Zien

For the next 4 weeks I will have the pleasure of working with the always inspiring, and exceedingly practical Carly Zien. I will be a part of her new series of classes at Heidi Marshall’s studio in Union Square entitled: [Re]Vitalizing Your Technique. We will be delving into the tips and tricks to tap into when you’re stuck preparing for an audition, as well as the best ways to keep inspired in tough moments and how to find the joy in the process of cultivating characters.

"Reign Supreme" Feature Film

I am excited to announce that over the course of the next few months I will be working on a feature length film shooting in New Jersey entitled Reign Supreme. I have the pleasure of playing one of the films leads characters, Sophia, a mob bosses young, charming niece who also happens to be his top hit-man (hit-woman? hit-girl?). Her parents died under mysterious circumstances, and her uncle has been taking care of her ever since. It’s her job to step in and keep people in check, no matter the cost.

"Catch As Catch Can" Workshop for Page73 Productions

I will have the pleasure of working on a two-part workshop process for the upcoming play Catch As Catch Can by Mia Chung, directed by Ken Rus Schmoll, and art directed by Michael Walkup of Page73 Productions. We will be experimenting with particular scenes and tricky moments in this challenging show. I can't wait to work with Ken once again and have the honor of working on another amazing production with him. The show will be performed this coming fall at the New Ohio Theater in the West Village!

I have the absolute honor of helping to workshop this production of Gone Missing for New York City Center's Encore! Off-Center season. It will be performed on July 11th & 12th at New York City Center with a star-studded cast of amazing artists. "The Passion of Athena"

I have the honor of working with one of my old friends, Steve Mazzoccone, on his original short play The Passion of Athena. The play will be part of the One Act Play Festival at the Secret Theater in Long Island City. I will be playing the role of Samantha, an ordinary mortal girl who is desperately in love with a guy named Brad. She unknowingly winds up in the basement of Mount Olympus where she is met by the recently demoted Goddess Athena who is just as desperate to help her as she is to win over Brad's heart.

I have been working on a workshop of an exciting play with an excitingly long title: A PEOPLE’S GUIDE TO HISTORY IN THE TIME OF HERE AND NOW, written by Rehana Mirza and directed by Lucie Tiberghien. We will be working all this week helping Rehana and Lucie dig through this text with a fine-toothed comb so we can make her already stunning play into an even clearer, powerful piece of theater. I am very excited to be working with Rehana, Lucie and our talented cast as we dig through this poignant play together.

Photoshoot with Katia Temkin

I finally got to work with the amazing Katia Temkin, and it was just as incredible as I imagined it would be. Katia has such a unique photo aesthetic, and it was such a blast using such bright, poppy colors. Katia is an amazing portrait, and branding photographer but she also does headshots and all sorts of other fun things. If you need some new photos for work, life or for instagram you should definitely hit her up!

New Headshots Coming Soon

I had the pleasure of working with Jeffrey Mosier on some killer new headshots. It was about time for an upgrade, and I had an amazing time working with Jeff and the amazing Jody Formica (HMUA). They were both so incredibly attentive and supportive the whole time. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you need new headshots you NEED to talk to Jeff.
